As the Head of Sales Excellence, you define, implement, and continuously elevate our global Sales Excellence strategy. With a sharp eye for the full sales funnel, you see opportunities others miss, turning actions into impact and lifting our commercial performance to new heights. You lead our Sales Excellence Coordinator and the international trainers, ensuring every initiative strengthens customer engagement, brand experience, and commercial effectiveness.
Your responsibilities
You boost sales performance across all channels by mastering the full sales funnel and translating every action into measurable impact, while elevating customer experience, strengthening brand loyalty, and driving team capability with coaching that delivers real ROI.
You partner with B2B, D2C, Digital, and Merchandising teams to streamline tools, systems, and ways of working that enhance productivity and conversion.
You spot growth opportunities quickly and introduce innovative solutions that improve turnover and optimize the sales process.
You work closely with the Head of Sales Merchandising to create and deliver a clear, unified global Sales Excellence roadmap that supports Van de Velde’s commercial strategy and brand ambitions.
As a strong believer in continuous learning, you lead the Van de Velde Academy, ensuring the design and delivery of high-impact training programs for sales teams, store staff, and wholesale partners.
You lead the Sales Excellence Coordinator and seven international Trainers, fostering a collaborative and empowering culture that values curiosity, learning, excellence, and delivering meaningful results.
Your Profile
In addition to a master’s degree, you bring at least 10 years of experience in an international Sales context.
On top of that, you have at least 5 years of experience leading and developing teams.
You have a strong understanding of the full sales funnel and know how to translate strategy into powerful operational execution across multiple channels and markets.
As a true sales enabler, you are able to build bridges across the different sales channels and your team.
You bring a hands‑on approach, effortlessly transforming strategic and innovative ideas into pragmatic solutions that deliver impact.
You have an innovative and curious mindset, always looking for smarter and more effective ways to elevate sales processes, customer experience and team performance.
You are fluent in both writing and communicating in English, Dutch is a strong plus.
