provides direction, structure and makes an impact to our Project Management operations .

Your role As Head of PMO, you are responsible for the

delivery of our projects below budget and within time, by managing, coaching&developing

a team of highly skilled project managers. As a department head, you will ensure the continuous improvement of a Project Management Office that is

robust, highly efficient, professional and future‑proof to the expansion of our operations .

You will report to the Business Unit Manager Projects and work closely with the Engineering Director. You will combine

people leadership, structure, and delivery ownership across a multi‑national, globally operating team in a highly competitive and technically orientated environment .

What will you do? Project&Program Management

You manage a portfolio of projects that have been contracted by the Sales department.

You coach and guide project managers to a higher level

You monitor planning, budgets and deliverables across projects.

You troubleshoot concerns and issues on our projects that require escalation

You create transparency around risks, dependencies and progress.

PMO&Structure

You build and optimize PMO processes and introduce uniform working methods.

You set up clear reporting and dashboards.

You implement and manage systems and tools to enhance the project management activities.

People Management&Coaching (key responsibility)

Select and build a team of highly‑skilled project managers

Lead and coach project managers in their day‑to‑day activities

Develop their skills and elevate the overall maturity of the project team

Set clear objectives through ownership, and accountability

Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback

Foster a strong project culture focused on quality and delivery

Stakeholder Management

You report clearly to the Business Unit Manager Projects.

You work closely with the Engineering Director, the BU Managers, the Process Plant Operations Manager and Sales Executives.

Resource&Capacity Management

You monitor and optimize the use of engineering resources.

You align priorities across teams and projects.

You detect and address bottlenecks and maximize acceleration of project execution.

Who are you?

You have +7 years of experience in project management Lead or PMO

Proven experience in leading and developing project managers

Proven experience in managing international EPC projects of a certain scale and complexity, preferably in the water treatment sector

A natural leader who brings structure while engaging and motivating people

You have an affinity with engineering (software, technical or industrial) and process-&wastewater treatment

You bring structure to complex and growing environments.

The globe is your playground and you enjoy connecting with different cultures across continents

You combine strategic insight with a hands‑on approach.

You keep your calm when setbacks occur and maintain a high focus on the objectives

You look for a win‑win when conflicts occur, and avoid the stand‑still

You are strong in communication and stakeholder management.

You are fluent in Dutch and English, Spanish is a big plus

You enjoy traveling on a regular basis to our sites and regional project hubs, to provide local support.
