Overview As a Technical Lead Expert specializing in GIS, you will be at the forefront of spatial data management for transportation infrastructure and real-time operations.

Responsibilities

GIS Implementation:

Lead the implementation of GIS solutions for railway projects, ensuring accurate geospatial data collection, analysis, and visualization.

Railway Network Mapping:

Collaborate with engineering teams to map railway networks, track layouts, and station locations.

Route Optimization:

Apply geospatial techniques to optimize rail routes, considering factors like terrain, safety, and efficiency.

Asset Management:

Manage geospatial databases for railway assets, including tracks, signals, bridges, and tunnels.

Project Coordination:

Coordinate with stakeholders, including railway operators, contractors, and third parties.

Quality Assurance:

Ensure data accuracy, adherence to standards, and compliance with safety regulations.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Geoscience or Aeronautics.

At least 6 years of experience with ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS API, ArcGIS Server, ESRI suite.

Proven experience in Geoserver and geodatabase development.

ESRI Certified.

Minimum of B2 CEFR level in English.

Coding experience in .NET or Python.

B2 CEFR level in French or Dutch (preferred).

Knowledge of railway infrastructure, signaling systems, and track alignment is a plus.

Project management skills.

Ability to communicate with non-technical stakeholders.
