Description
At Allianz Benelux, Enterprise Architecture is not a theoretical exercise. It is where business ambition, technology reality, and regulatory complexity meet. We are looking for an experienced Architect who can move seamlessly between business conversations and technical depth, and who thrives in a complex, fast‑moving environment.
This is not a role for spectators. You will be jumping on moving trains while helping harmonize local Benelux landscapes with Allianz Group global standards.
Role Summary As an Enterprise Architect, you are the linking pin between business, IT, and external partners.
You translate strategy into clear architectural direction and help teams make decisions that work in practice, not just on paper.
Your Responsibilities
Document and maintain enterprise architecture models in our
Enterprise Architecture Management tool ADOIT
Model architectures using
ArchiMate
(this is a must-have)
Switch fluently between
technical EA language
and
clear, understandable business communication
Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders: From
offer request and underwriting
to
claims handling, payouts, and financial flows
Support and guide multiple
flagship transformation programs
running in parallel
Navigate differences between Belgium and the Netherlands in:
Regulations
IT landscapes
Help harmonize local solutions with
Allianz Group global standards , while keeping the Benelux market realities front and center
Handle
intensive discussions
and conflicting interests, always working toward solutions that stakeholders can accept
Represent and acts as an
ambassador
the Enterprise Architecture team across the organization
Your Profile You bring a pragmatic, hands‑on approach to Enterprise Architecture, focusing on real‑world solutions over theoretical frameworks.
Mandatory Skills&Experience
Proven, hands‑on experience with ArchiMate modeling (mandatory).
Solid experience documenting enterprise architectures in tools like ADOIT
Deep understanding of insurance business processes, including offer&request flows, underwriting, claims handling, payouts, and financial processes.
Strong communication skills to engage with both senior business stakeholders and technical teams.
Fluency in at least two of the following languages: English, Dutch, and French.
Patience, resilience, and the ability to operate under high pressure in a dynamic environment.
Comfort with ad hoc situations, changing priorities, and incomplete information
Nice-to-Have Skills
Familiarity with frameworks like TOGAF (certification is not required; practical application is valued).
At Allianz, we're always on the lookout for individuals who are enthusiastic about AI and Data Analytics to shape the future and drive innovation across our organization.
