Head of Accounting– Anticipating 2026 Opportunities (M/W)

Ref. 26.111– Belgium We are looking for an experienced Head of Accounting to support organizations undergoing strategic evolution, with annual revenues between €100M and €1B, including international groups, regional holdings, and fast‑growing mid‑sized companies. Main responsibilities

Preparation of Group accounting reportings, balance‑sheet and profit&loss. Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger and cost accounting, ensuring that closing deadlines are met. Comprehensive management of accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and tax filings, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Manage and supervise an accounting team, ensuring skill development and quality of work.Collaborate with the CFO on managing cash, overseeing treasury operations, maintaining banking relationships, and reporting financial information to leadership and shareholders. Support operational teams as a key business partner through actionable financial recommendations and the development of strong, trust‑driven partnerships.Identify and optimise accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and maintain robust internal controls. 10–20 years of professional experience in accounting leadership roles. Track record in companies with revenues between €100M and €1B. Proven experience as Head of Accounting. Strong understanding of international accounting standards, governance and financial structuring. Exposure to industrial environments is a strong advantage.Fluent in English. Strategic and operational finance leadership. Hands‑on mindset in scaling and structuring environments. Solid communication and stakeholder management. Ability to operate in multicultural and fast‑growing contexts.
