Mission Overview About the job Senior Product Owner Consultant
This is a consultancy mission at a client site, where you will represent Keystone Solutions as a Product Owner within the Transformation Office. As a Keystone Solutions consultant, you will be hired to work on client projects, bringing your expertise and our values to every engagement.
Mission Context The client’s Customer Servicing&Efficiency tribe is focused on enhancing operational efficiency and elevating both customer and employee experiences. This is achieved by delivering seamless remote interactions, highly automated workflows and processes, and robust fraud protection, all powered by technology and strategic collaborations. The tribe plays a key role in simplifying processes, strengthening trust, and enabling the business to focus on high‑impact customer and employee value. One of the clusters is dedicated to Automation/Robotics solutions, managing a park of more than 200 bots. Within this cluster, a squad is dedicated to the delivery of new bots and identifying new automation opportunities. You will join this squad as an experienced Product Owner.
Responsibilities
Represent stakeholders and the voice of the customers, capturing their expectations, preferences, and aversions.
Act as the bridge between stakeholders and IT, turning strategic vision into actionable solutions and driving value creation in an Agile environment.
Express and prioritize product needs using a Product Backlog.
Shape the future of your product with vision and strategy, developing a deep understanding of the product, its market, and its customers.
Define product strategy based on market trends, user needs, data, and strategic direction.
Ensure the squad’s understanding of the product and alignment with quarterly and sprint goals.
Build the product’s big picture (vision/storytelling), including its roadmap, and communicate this to the squad and stakeholders.
Clarify needs and draft Objectives Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with the cluster Product Owner.
Plan iterations and define priorities to ensure proper content delivery.
Continuously prioritize key business needs and monitor the Product Backlog.
Align stakeholders on the product to be delivered using Agile ceremonies.
Initiate priority management, ensuring product consistency and quality.
Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (retrospectives, sprint reviews, refinement, product boards, etc.).
Act as the decision maker or authority to arbitrate on delivered functionalities (“Captain” of the squad).
Conduct live adjustments and follow‑up on the Sprints Backlog.
Align with product tribes to funnel the backlog.
Agile Requirements
Demonstrate a positive attitude and pragmatism.
Show a thirst for knowledge, embracing learning and adaptation.
Focus on team success over individual achievement.
View feedback as an opportunity for continuous improvement.
Contribute to cross‑functional Agile teams, taking on roles as needed to achieve sprint goals.
Language Requirements
Fluent knowledge of English and at least one local language (Dutch or French).
Education
Bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent experience.
Certification
Preferable: Program/project management and change management frameworks (e.g. AGILE, Prince2, ITIL, ADKAR), Scaled Agile Framework. Agile is the methodology currently used.
Telework
Expectation: 50% on site and 50% homeworking.
Required Experience / Knowledge
At least 2 years of relevant experience.
Technical experience (mandatory):
Functional understanding of automation (comfortable interacting with architects, developers, experts).
Familiarity with automation solutions (e.g., BluePrism).
Genuine interest in technology and its opportunities.
Experience in delivering digital transformation projects.
Business experience (mandatory):
Experience in leading squads/teams.
Analytical skills, deductive reasoning, and the ability to draw conclusions from evidence and assumptions.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate, influence, and master prioritization and delivery.
Strong stakeholder management and customer centricity.
Ability to manage a portfolio of projects.
Business experience (preferable):
Banking experience.
Experience with Agile methodology/practices.
Soft Skills
Strong presentation skills to different audiences.
Ability to establish and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.
Ability to identify and manage risks/issues, overcome challenges, and motivate teams and stakeholders.
