About the Role

We are looking for a

Subject Matter Expert in RegTech and FinTech

with strong expertise in

technologies and solutions that improve operational efficiency within financial institutions

. The role focuses on identifying, analyzing, and evaluating

RegTech and FinTech solutions that help banks optimize operations, automate processes, enhance compliance capabilities, and improve efficiency across their business and regulatory functions

. The successful candidate will contribute to the analysis of

European RegTech and FinTech business cases

, support the evaluation of

technology solutions relevant for financial institutions

, and contribute to a

knowledge platform documenting innovative financial technologies and operational transformation models

. This position is part of a

small and dynamic team focused on financial innovation and new technology-driven operating models for financial institutions across the European market

. Key Responsibilities

RegTech&FinTech Expertise

Provide expert insight on

RegTech and FinTech solutions that improve operational efficiency within banks and financial institutions

. Analyze technologies enabling

automation, digitalization, and optimization of banking operations

. Evaluate

innovative solutions addressing regulatory compliance, reporting, monitoring, and operational processes

. Operational Efficiency&Banking Transformation

Identify

technology solutions that help financial institutions streamline processes and improve operational performance

. Analyze

operating model innovations enabled by RegTech and FinTech solutions

. Assess opportunities to

reduce operational complexity and improve efficiency through technology adoption

. Market&Technology Analysis

Monitor developments in the

European RegTech and FinTech ecosystem

. Analyze emerging

technology platforms, automation tools, and financial technology solutions

relevant for financial institutions. Evaluate

new business models and technology-driven transformation initiatives in banking

. Knowledge Platform Contribution

Contribute to the development of a

knowledge platform documenting European RegTech and FinTech business cases and technology solutions

. Structure and document

innovative technologies and operational transformation models for financial institutions

. Support AI-driven analysis of

RegTech and FinTech developments and their impact on banking operations

. Working Environment

Work as part of a

small, agile, and highly motivated team

focused on financial innovation. Contribute to initiatives exploring

technology-driven transformation of financial institutions

. Participate in research and analysis of

emerging financial technologies and operational models across the European market

. Qualifications

Degree in

Finance, Technology, Business, Information Systems, or a related field

. 5–10+ years of professional experience

in RegTech, FinTech, financial technology consulting, or financial institutions. Experience gained within: RegTech or FinTech companies, financial institutions undergoing technology transformation, technology providers serving financial institutions, or consulting firms specializing in financial services transformation.Skills and Expertise

Strong expertise in

RegTech and FinTech solutions relevant for financial institutions

. Deep understanding of

banking operations and operational efficiency challenges

. Knowledge of

technology-driven compliance, automation, and operational optimization tools

. Strong analytical capability to evaluate

technology solutions and operational transformation models

. Personal Profile

Strong interest in

financial technology and innovation in banking operations

. Analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate
